Spoil Tip Planning Application Approved

This application (09/00787/MIN) was approved in January 2010, for 2 years 9 months, with conditions covering the installation of a wheel wash (the road sweeper will used as a secondary backup), movement of HGV's, Numbers of HGV's (Average 26 per day with a maximum of 30), Hours of operation (8.30am - 3.30 pm for importation of soils), the establishment of footpaths (some to be finished by the end of February but others to be delayed until completion of the restoration), and a Site Liaison group to monitor progress and deal with residents concerns and complaints.

There will be no green waste composting on the site and this will be the final phase.

A Paragraph 9 Environment Agency exemption will allow the importation of Inert soils, hardcore bricks and concrete, paper crumble, Bio Solids, Compost and Water treatment cake.

In addition:

Tree planting to the 07 application area will commence before the end of March.

A style or similar will be built at the Woolley Grange access road so that residents can access the footpath.

To prevent queuing of HGV's before the opening time of 8.30, lorries may be allowed onto the site but will not be allowed to unload.
