ELECTION PROCESS FOR WGRA COMMITTEE

On the 13th April, the nominations for all the committee positions will be approved and the WGRA will be formally established for the next 12 months. All committee positions are up for re-election, so now is your chance to put your name forward for election and have a key role in how our community grows. The positions are as follows:

Chairperson: Responsible for providing the direction of the committee as a whole, chairing all resident and committee meetings, delegating project roles to other committee members and liaising with all key stakeholders including local Councillors, West Yorkshire & South Yorkshire Police and any other interested parties such as Developers and RMG Estate Management.
Vice-Chair: To support the role of the Chair and act in their capacity when the Chair is unavailable.
Treasurer: Keep up-to date accounts of all activities undertaken by the WGRA and seek funding from alternative sources.
Secretary: Responsible for minute taking at all meetings, dealing with all inbound and outbound post, manage email accounts and ensure that all committee members are kept up to date.
Committee Member: 6 posts available with duties being varied and dependant on what projects the committee are undertaking.

All nominations must be received by midday on Friday 12th March 2010 by emailing to: woolley.grange@googlemail.com your name, contact details, position applying for and a short summary of why you want to apply and what you think you can add to the group.

A further newsletter will be issued with details of all the nominees along with instructions on how you can vote. Voting will cease at midday on Friday 2nd April 2010 with the successful candidates being informed of their positions in time for the meeting on the 13th April.
