Transport to School

I dont know if its of any interest to anyone on the estate but I just wanted to let you know that WMDC provide Home to School Transport (private taxi)to the nearest qualifying schools for Woolley Grange. This covers Dane Royd, Kettlethorpe High School and St Thomas a Beckitts-I'm not sure if they plan to include West Bretton as its not a qualifying school for us.
My children have been using the service to Dane Royd since Oct 07 and it is working really well for us.
The point is that currently there are only a handful of children using the service and WMDC wont look at increasing the capacity unless the demand increases.

We use the bus as well. The driver is really friendly and experienced. It's an excellent service. Highly recommended. You can drop your kids off anywhere on the route which means you might even save some time in the morning. It also stops you having to park in the free for all outside school when you collect them, park up at Woolley and the chaperone gets them onto the bus, then the driver delivers them to you at the next stop, stress free (for you).
